Health & Safety Policy

The health and safety of our employees is a high priority. We pride ourselves of achieving low accident and injuries tally from the emphasis of instilling safe working practices in all areas of the business. Health and safety procedures are implemented into each business process with employees always being encouraged to think about their tasks in order to complete them in the safest and most effective manner and we are constantly striving to improve and find safer methods of operating.


Health & Safety Policy

It is the policy of Oceanic Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd to comply with all health, safety and welfare legislation where applicable.
It is the intention of the Oceanic Offshore to undertake all that is reasonably practical, in order to prevent personal injury, damage to property and harm to the environment.
It is the aim of the Oceanic Offshore to protect all individuals, including employees, clients and members of the public from risks by identifying perceived hazards and implementing appropriate preventive and corrective action where required.

It is the policy of Oceanic Offshore to provide, as far as is reasonably practical:

  • A well maintained plant with safe systems of work in place
  • adequate information, instruction, training and supervision to enable work to be carried out safely
  • a safe, environmental friendly working place  
  • necessary safety and protective equipment including adequate training on their use
  • staff welfare and recreational programs promoting cohesiveness and healthy living

Oceanic Offshore is committed to improving safety performance through the implementation of procedures. The Company aims to continuously support improvement of work methods and set annual targets which shall be audited and reviewed consistently.  

It is the duty of employees of the company to co-operate in the implementation of such policies by:

  • working safely and effectively inspecting, utilising and maintaining protective equipment
  • workplace safety and housekeeping
  • reporting incidents and accidents
  • assisting in the implementation of corrective and / or preventive action in order to minimise identified hazards through risk assessment
  • participating in Company organized training aids and programs
